Our activities

Through activities, the Foundation “Krug života Kruščica" advocates protection of the environment, implementation of environmental policies and standards and respect for the basic human right to a healthy and environmentally friendly environment. The Foundation actively educates society in the field of ecology with the purpose of raising awareness and understanding of environmental protection and importance for human health.

In our activities we are specifically focused on:

Biodiversity research and advocacy that is aimed at increasing protected areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina,

Providing active support to the preservation of the Kruščica river and other rivers in Bosnia and Herzegovina,

Monitoring influences from all segments of society that we perceive as important for the preservation of public resources and protection of the environment,

Strengthening competencies, skills and awareness raising among children and youth through their engagement with volunteering in cooperation with educational institutions,

Supporting and increasing the participation of associated local citizens in the making and changing of certain policies and legal solutions with the purpose of providing a better framework for community development concerning environmental protection.

The regular activities of the Foundation “Krug života Kruščica" include:

Participation in conferences, public hearings and other events that are relevant and connected to environmental protection,

Active monitoring of law implementation, development of strategies and proposals for amendments of laws that have an impact on the environment, especially focusing on the role of local communities in the process of adopting law enforcement solutions,

Promotion of rural tourism development within project activities,

Fundraising for development and continuation of fundraising activities.
